I had a reatlization not to long ago when I was reading Galations 6:5 "each is responible for there own conduct" NLT. When I read this verse it was like a light blinking over my head. This verse sums up so many issues that people bring on themselves. So many times people take offence and are hurt by so many other peole. If it was something that someone done to them or said about them, there is going to be sometime in each of our lives that someone is going to let us down and hurt us. To me Gal 6:5 clears up so much. Each is responsible for there own conduct. I can take this verse and apply it at these times. Our instant reaction is to lash back at the person that done me wrong. But then I am remind that the word tells me to be quick to listen and slow to anger and slow to speak. What if, instead of getting mad and retaliating back we take this verse and speak it to ourselves, then stop and pray for that person, forgive them and give it to the Lord. If that person is never sorry for what they have done, if they never give you the apology that you may deserve, there is coming a day that they will be held responsible for what they have done. We have to keep in mind that it is not what someone done to me it is how I reacted when they did it. Cause one day we will both be standing in judgment and we will have to give a account for how we reacted, try and be the blameless one.
